administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Primary point of contact in Managed Care for ensuring team members have access to the training and learning opportunities that are necessary to perform in their position descriptions.
  • Coordinates with clinical, operations, and support teams to build learning curricula for critical business processes.
  • Creates, maintains, and makes available curricula for departments and team members.
  • Facilitates the training delivery platforms and training content on the platforms, ensuring all team members have access to the learning media and information necessary to perform job duties.
  • Produces, creates, and outsources content creation for learning management systems. Includes digital manuals, training videos, slide-decks, and training quizzes.
  • In efforts for learning development, will coordinate with subject matter experts interdepartmentally, and will facilitate task completion across the project/initiative team.
  • Will report deficiency in momentum, and will call out successes.

Preferred Qualifications
Proven work experience or education in learning development, training, instructional design, and/or education.
Excellent knowledge of learning and instructional models.
Capable of curriculum development in healthcare, business, IT, or related fields.
Ability to coordinate personnel across a large organization to develop learning systems and delivery.
Must possess a personable nature in the delivery or facilitation of training sessions in Managed Care.
Experience working in Learning Management Systems (LMS) is highly desired, and strengths in technical writing, project management are also highly desirable.
Prior experience in healthcare, healthcare IT, and healthcare patient information systems a big plus.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
