Position Description
Assists surgical team before, during, and after surgery. Duties include equipment placement for procedures, positioning patient on table, aiding team to on gowns and gloves, maintaining supply fluids, handing instruments and supplies during surgery, putting dressing on patients following surgery, cleaning and sterilizing equipment and surgery room. Other duties as requested while assisting with surgical procedures.

Major/Essential Functions
Knowledgeable of all basic setups for surgical procedures.

Demonstrates and adheres to principles of aseptic techniques.

Instrument preparation and sterilization.

Assists in ensuring patient safety.

Orders supplies.

Clean and disinfecting following procedures.

Occasional Duties
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications
+Education:+ A minimum of a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Graduated from a surgical technician course. +Experience:+ A minimum of three years of related experience.

Pay Basis

Minimum Hire Rate
14.75 (Negotiable - Salary commensurate upon experience and qualifications)

Pay Statement
