Position Description
Performs semi-professional work on various projects and programs. Work is performed under supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment. Employee performance is based upon a review of completed work and overall results obtained. May supervise specialized clerical section.

Major/Essential Functions
Supports the Service Plus philosophy of Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
Adheres to TDCJ and departmental safety policies and procedures.
Functions as the pod receptionist.
Computer usage
Admission and discharge of patients (chain in or out).
Assists with patient scheduling and appointments.
Assists with patient moves.
Maintains patient records.
Chart review
Order supplies
Attends required meetings and training.
Transportation
Provide relief for switchboard coverage.
Professional conduct and development.
Other duties as required.
