Position Description
Draws blood from patients in correctional hospital facility for analysis or other medical purposes.

Major/Essential Functions
- Schedule patients for laboratory services and EKG.
- Collect various specimens, with CMP's being fasting.
- Giving critical lab values or cultures to ordering physician.
- Provide HIV post counseling for CID department and complete HIV pre-release testing.
- Works with phlebotomist to maintain laboratory cleanliness in accordance with ACA standards
- Performs EKGs
- Maintains supplies, and lab equipment, & reporting non-functioning equipment to proper person as found.
