Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Correctional Managed Health Care provides comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated adults through a partnership with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. We believe in offering the best service possible for our patients, this commitment to high quality is evident in the fact that all state correctional facilities that receive healthcare services from TTUHSC are accredited by the American Correctional Association (ACA).
We provide healthcare services for 31 facilities in 18 cities throughout West Texas. While working in a state correctional facility may sound intimidating, in reality it is safer than working in most hospitals and other areas of practice. The safety of both our employees and patients is of the utmost importance to us and all employees are in the presence of a correctional officer during all interactions with patients. Not only are you working in a secure environment, but you are also providing medical care and services to patients with great need who often have never had access to these services before.
At CMHC, we provide healthcare, dental care and mental health services to our patients throughout West Texas. Through this broad range of services we are impacting the lives of hundreds of patients who may have never had access to quality healthcare before. This provides fulfilling opportunities to physicians, mental health professionals, dental professionals, nurses, support staff and more.
